Easy 'butter cream' frosting
A quick and simple way to make frosting for cakes and cupcakes.

Ingredients
1
Cup
Butter
or vegetable shortening...or a mix of the two
4-6
Cups
Powdered Sugar
1
teaspoon
Vanilla
Pinch
of Salt
1-4
Tablespoons
of Milk
or water...or even cream
Instructions
Cream butter in the stand mixer and add powdered sugar a cup at a time, until very thick and lump free.
Then mix in a pinch of salt and the vanilla.
Additionally add one tablespoon of liquid (milk, water or cream) at a time until desired consistency.
Lastly whip on medium or high speed for an additional minute or until desired consistency is reached.
