Individual Skillet Brownies

Warm brownies cooked and served in individual skillets and topped with ice cream

Ingredients

  • 1/2 Cup Butter
  • 6 ounces Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
  • 2 Large Eggs
  • 1 1/2 Teaspoons Vanilla
  • 1/2 Cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1/4 Cup of All Purpose Flour
  • 1 Teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Slowly and gently melt the butter and chocolate chips together until smooth. Set aside.
  3. Lightly oil individual cast iron skillets with a pastry brush.
  4. Whisk together the eggs and sugar in a medium bowl.
  5. Add vanilla and whisk to combine.
  6. Slowly stir in chocolate to eggs until fully incorporated.
  7. Combine flour, baking powder and salt and mix in.
  8. Switch to a spatula to make sure everything is combined.
  9. Spoon or pour into mini cast irons.
  10. Place on Baking sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 22 minutes.
  11. Serve with scoops of vanilla ice cream.
