In pandemic life I welcomed Paris into my own kitchen!

With the help of Cook’n With Class Paris I found a way to bring Paris to me!

It’s no secret that we had to cancel our Paris trip earlier in the year and that we don’t know when we will be back there yet. No real surprise with everyone in a similar boat. But due to businesses going online or virtual, and through the power of zoom, I was able to bring the cooking lessons to me in the comfort of my own home.

Together we made a warm Provencal green bean salad (that we have made twice since), an intimating bouillabaisse fish soup (that really wasn’t now that I have made it once), aioli (with potato) and a delicious crème caramel renversée (creme caramel).

I love learning new things and and my oldest was able to join in the fun, with me in the kitchen. I also really like that with a lesson and proper instruction intimidating dishes become within reach. It was so nice to be able to flip the camera on my device and say “is this what it’s supposed to look like?”

And somehow it made me miss France a little less!

Missing France like me?! Then maybe check out some of my past visits to Provence, Southern France or Paris!
